Don't you want
to drop everything
spontaneously
and just go somewhere nobody knows you and you don't know anybody?
Gosh... @ Monday, May 16, 2011 9:53 PM
Gosh it has been awhile since I last posted something. I lost my PW to this site, and only today that I remembered what it was =P
So what happened to me during my last post and today?
1. I got really sick and anemic so I started eating meat again. It was disgusting, and I am still not used to it because after eating no meat for a year, I have gotten used to it. Right now I am beginning to cut down on meat again, but doing it slowly.
2. I am all better now~!
3. I am going to get a Mini Cooper!!! So I have began saving my money~~
ahhhhhhh~~ so beautiful~!! Here's my plan: bring my lunch to work so I can save money and avoid eating meat. Avoid making any big purchases. Hopefully by next year (or earlier) I will be able to buy the car.
Why a mini? #1 reason is fuel efficient and of course the looks help too.
Good night~

I have discovered a new blog that I am super duper excited and happy about: http://veganmiss.blogspot.com/
I'm hungry just looking at her site now. I think I'll go and cook or bake something to eat now since I'm super starving.
Please check out her website and happy cooking/baking~
Recommended read of the day:

Currently still reading the book so I cannot give it a full review yet. I know it is not a mystery book, but sometimes I need a break every now and then from mysteries and enjoy some nonfiction novels. It's all part of my new year resolution to read more, and of course eat more like a vegetarian rather than a pescatarian.
PEACE!~

Cozy Mystery @ Tuesday, March 8, 2011 7:49 PM
One of my New Year Resolution is to read more~ Whether it is my favorite subject: mystery or nonfiction. While I was working at the library over the weekend, I discovered a little icon on the work computer called "cozy mystery". Being a mystery novel fan, I had to click on the icon.
According to this website http://www.cozy-mystery.com, "Cozy mysteries are considered “gentle” books… no graphic violence, no profanity, and no explicit sex. Most often, the crime takes place “off stage” and death is usually very quick. Prolonged torture is not a staple in cozy mysteries! The victim is usually a character who had terrible vices or who treated others very badly. Dare I say…. the victim “deserved to die?” And, there are usually connections between the victims (if indeed there are multiple victims… which usually, in a cozy mystery, there are!), even though the reader is not aware of the obvious connections until the amateur sleuth solves the crimes. Sex (if there is any) is always behind closed doors. It is implied…. at most! Two characters may go from having a late-night, romantic dinner to----fast forward----one person taking a cup of coffee up to their partner, who is enjoying the delicious luxury of sleeping in. Enough said!"
Wow! That just about sums up the kind of mysteries that I like to read (like Agatha Christie)! Which means no CSI, Bones, or Dexter-like novels. Don't get me wrong, I still love watching CSI... and I could only handle 1st season of Dexter.
Boy I really miss those days when I got a couple of hours to myself (meee time) and do nothing but read. I used to read so much when I was in elementary and middle school. Trust me people, start your kids reading when they are that age. It really helps them in the future. It doesn't really matter what they read, whatever it is appropriate around that age I guess.
So here is my recommendation for those that want to give cozy mystery a try: checkout that website. My personal all time favorite (for now): "And Then There Were None" aka Ten Little Indians by Agatha Christie.
